The three symptoms
The list is a fan that only works on high, no fan at any speed, and squealing from behind the glovebox. The cars named are the E90, E60, F30 and F10, and the page calls out the E9x and E60 final stage resistor behind the glovebox. See Blower Motor / Final Stage Resistor, BMW E90 repair costs and BMW F10 repair costs.
Resistor, blower, or both
The note says a failed final stage resistor can take out the blower, and a failed blower can take out the resistor. The priced rows include a range for the resistor alone, the blower alone, and both. Ask which part the quote is. The page says most of the figures are shop price bands, with limited owner-paid invoices. Blower Motor / Final Stage Resistor on a BMW E90/E60/F30/F10 typically costs $200–$600 at an independent shop or $500–$1,000 at a BMW dealer, based on 4 real owner-reported prices.
It is not the condenser
Warm air with a working fan is a refrigerant leak: the condenser, the evaporator or the compressor, in the BMW A/C Blows Warm: Condenser, Evaporator or Compressor. The blower page is about the fan speeds, not the temperature of the air.
Where you reach it
Access is usually under or behind the glovebox. That is also why a sunroof leak onto the passenger floor is worth drying quickly: the BMW Sunroof Drain Clog and Wet Floor warns that wet modules get expensive, and this resistor lives in that area of the car. A window that drops into the door is the BMW Window Regulator Failure. A door that will not lock from the fob is the BMW Door Lock Actuator Failure.
